Bedside Table Beauty

bedding (on sale!) | jewellery box | gold tray | hand cream | Kindle cover | bucket list notebook (gift!)

Keeping skin-care essentials on my bedside has been a great way to remind myself to keep on top of my routine…

As I’m sure some of you reading this have made similar promises to yourself like, moisturise, work out & drink more water. The first month of the new year we’re always so strict on ourselves and I think this time for me, I’ve found one trick on how to keep my promise and get used to applying my skin-care products. Just having them by my side before bed has helped wonders as they’re always in arms reach, not tucked up in a draw somewhere.

Anyway, here are the products I’ve been using recently..

Lancome Galateis Douceur – This creamy cleaner is oh so gentle on my skin, I also use it to remove make-up. Simply apply to a cotton pad and wipe away. I love this because you don’t have to wash it off, you can let it sink into your skin.

Sunday Riley Martian – Amazing!! It’s a mattifying toner which I use morning & night to help with my oily skin and acne prone areas. I honestly can’t recommend this product enough, as soon as I started using it my spots cleared up in a couple of days. I will mention that for anyone who has ‘normal’ or dry skin I wouldn’t recommend you using this. I only apply it to my oily areas as it is super drying.

Kiel’s Creamy Eye Treatment – A super rich under-eye cream that contains avocado, so it’s full of vitamins A, D, & E and amino acid proteins. It’s consistency is perfect for delicate skin and I always wake up feeling refreshed and hydrated after using this.

Origins Drink-Up Intensive – A really great face-mask to make your skin feel super glowy in the morning. It also smells like apricots which is a win for me! I use this once or twice a week depending on how my skin feels.

Dr Paw Paw Original Balm – I’ve been using this balm for years now and really, reeeally love it. I use it as a lip balm mostly but also as a brow gel when doing my make-up. This doesn’t live on my bedside table I take it everywhere with me and will usually top up during the day. I love that it’s fragrance free and doesn’t crack my lips at all. It just keeps them soft!

I also wanted to mention a couple new things I’ve purchased recently. Firstly this little jewellery box I found in H&M home, which by the way, have some great things in at the moment. It’s the perfect size to fit in the jewellery I wear every day. Secondly, this Kindle cover I bought on Amazon. It’s so beautiful! Also very well made. After taking my Kindle out of my handbag one day, I found a large scratch on the front, so I immediately bought a cover for it and I’m happy I didn’t go for boring old black.

Also I want to say thank-you to my beautiful friend Louise for giving me a Bucket List notebook, she clearly knows what a dreamer I am 🙂 I’ve already started filling it with many blogging & vlogging ideas!!

As always I’d love to hear from you guys, let me know what products you use overnight & if you too, need to keep those new years promises! Thank- you to those who always tune-in and visit my site I really do appreciate you all so much 🙂
